Time to go back to reality
We’re leaving tomorrow and I feel like our trip as gone so fast that I don’t even realize that I will be back in Quebec city in less than 24 hours. This travel as been so sick that I’m already planning the next one! I absolutely loved the time I spent in this colorful city where culture is present in all its forms, in terms of music with the Funk vibe on which people live in the ghetto or by the street artists who express themselves by painting the walls of the city to the colours of their vision. I discovered a warm and courageous nation, who, despite the difficult situation faced by millions of people, continu to open himself to the world. I saw the sad reality of those persons living in extreme poverty alongside rich criminals and it make me realize again the chance we have to live in Quebec.

Time goes fast
We’ve been here for two weeks, and we just can’t get enough of this amazing city. Everyday we meet new people that introduce us to their lifestyle, showing us the huge diversity that makes the place so alive! Lately we have visited the chic neighborhood of Lapa, where the cultural life is in every streets and where nightclubs are all more attractive the one than the others. Also, we made surf a couple of days like we are amateurs and I have to say that even if the beach of Copacabana is beautiful, she’s to commercial and looks nothing like the Ipanema beach who’s a real paradise. Until now, the temperature is pretty good, always sunny and we haven’t met too many problems! Also, we taste some delicious typical food every day and go out in a new club every night, so life couldn’t be prettier. Obviously, we wanted to go for a ride in some of the huge favelas of the place to see by ourself how it looks like. Well, the landscape is certainly quite disturbing since in most of them reigns officially undeclared war where weapons and drug trafficking are available on every street corner, but concretely this is less scary than what medias let us imagine. Finally, we decided to stay for one more week, just to really enjoy our trip and see everything that we should! Never had that much fun, Brazil is such an incredible place to stay.

Rio de Janeiro, here we come!
After months of waiting, the dream finally come true! My friend and I planned to stay for approximately two weeks, but our trip may be a little bit longer cause that huge country that cover half of the South America seems to contain thousands of wonderful things to see. We count to reside in some cheap hostels , so we would be able to invest more money in nice activities. So our trip as beggan and after nearly a day of traveling we ultimately arrived in this legendary city of contrasts where the panoramic views are simply breathless! Arriving in town, there is this very impressive pictures of the Cristo Redemtor, the famous Corcovado overlooking the bay of Rio with open arms in sign of protection. Til now, we’ve met many Brazilians who welcomed us with open arms too, and the population seems to be extremely warm despite all the tensions subsisting here. I’m pretty excited about the couple of next days cause I just can’t wait to discover the city! I’ll talk to you as soon as possible, have fun until then.
